Resurrection Hands by Hyatt Moore traveling in Wheaton




Resurrection Hands by Hyatt Moore will be traveling to all of the churches who partnered and attended a preview of the art with Jonahre Foundation and the 2018 Wheaton Passion Art Walk.
Gary Methodist Church won the drawing on March 22 at Windsor Park Retirement Community and was able to display the 8ft x 6ft. mural on Easter Sunday.  It will now go in alphabetical order to participating churches.

Now in 2 Different Locations in January!

  See the art from this workshop  https://www.themakersspace.us/2023/10/visual-journaling-of-psalms-1-and-2.html Exciting things have been happening with The Maker's Space this January, 2024!  The Vail Church in Avon, Colorado has been wanting to start a creative group for the last few years.  This year, it is happening with 2 sessions scheduled for January, and more TBD.  It just took interested individuals to be willing to lead and open up space to slow down and listen to The Maker using different art forms.

Creative Prayer Workshop #3 Paint Your Heart Out! Painting your emotions

  We had a wonderful workshop with Allison leading us in painting our emotions.  We started with putting a color on paper of what a description of anger, joy, peace and love would look like to each of us in color. The next paintings were guided layers of emotions, perhaps a lie we believed, and the truth that we know, all represented in colors and layers.  Some of the pictures from the evening are below.
