Seasons of fruit scratch art- June session

We came together a week later, on June 3 due to the holiday. At the same time a prayer meeting was going on, and we asked them to join us. As the artist worked, prayer was spoken in segments of adoration, then confession, then thanksgiving, then petitions. The artists prayed along without words, some added in praying aloud. It was a holy hour as the Spirit of the Lord moved among us. Each group needing prayer to boldly do what God had created them to do.

We focused on Psalm 1:3..”.Those who delight in the law of the Lord and meditate on it day and night, are like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither- whatever they do prospers.”

We also read Psalm 89 throughout the prayer time, focusing on God’s vibrant beauty. “The right and justice are the roots of your rule; Love and Truth are its fruits.”

The art that cam out of the session spoke personally to each artist of the season that they are in and the fruits that they are seeing or not seeing.  One spoke of God’s love and light in the winds of this season. Another saw a vision of the cross with Jesus’ blood flowing down and becoming a river.
Another saw visions of hearts and God’s faithful and everlasting love pouring forth all over.
It was a peaceful time of definite vision manifested in an art form that we could all see a bit of a personal conversation with God. We heard some of the conversations with God and saw some of the conversations. The senses of hearing, seeing and touch used to worship the Creator.
